Lionova Technology Services sells residential internet in Nigeria over Starlink. A dish is installed at each location and the connection is shared, so residents buy short-term access instead of signing a contract. Selling that by hand does not scale: every purchase means someone matching a payment to a person, handing out an access code, and answering the same questions about balances and devices. Lionova needed the buying, the access codes and the customer self-service to run without an operator in the loop.
We built the Lionova website, customer dashboard and admin dashboard on Next.js, with a Convex backend holding the plan catalogue, payments, vouchers and customers. The network side is a real TP-Link Omada controller: each Lionova location maps to an Omada site, each plan maps to a voucher group, and the platform reads voucher and device activity back from the controller so usage stays in step with the network.
Plans come in two types, time-based unlimited passes and capped data bundles, with device limits per plan. At checkout the customer pays by bank transfer through a dedicated account number (Flutterwave), and the platform confirms the payment from the provider's webhook, assigns a voucher and delivers it. The same purchase can be made over WhatsApp: a rule-based chat flow walks the customer through location, plan category and plan, sends payment details, and replies with the code once payment clears. SMS and email are used for one-way alerts and receipts.
Signed-in customers get a dashboard showing their vouchers, usage, the devices connected to them, payments and alerts. Staff get an admin dashboard for plans, locations, customers, payments, vouchers, usage and speed caps, plus the messaging and WhatsApp settings.
Lionova's plans are on sale at lionovatech.com, with a price list, checkout and a customer balance page on one site, and WhatsApp as a second way to buy. Customers can start with a short pass and nothing renews automatically. We have kept the numbers off this page on purpose: Lionova is a live business and we have not been given figures to publish.
Plan catalogue
Unlimited time passes (from 6 hours) and capped data bundles across weekly to three-month periods, grouped by category, with per-plan device limits.
Bank-transfer checkout
The customer gets a dedicated account number for the order, pays by transfer, and the platform confirms the payment from the provider's webhook before releasing access.
Automatic vouchers
Plans map to voucher groups on a TP-Link Omada controller. A paid order is matched to a voucher and delivered, and usage and device activity are synced back from the controller.
WhatsApp buying flow
A rule-based chat assistant takes a customer from location to plan, sends payment details, delivers the code after payment, and hands over to a person when asked.
Customer dashboard
Signed-in customers see their vouchers, data usage, connected devices, payments, alerts and support options, and can buy again.
Admin dashboard
Staff manage locations, plans and categories, customers, payments, vouchers, usage and speed caps, and connect the network controller and messaging accounts.
